Josh Rochelle-Bates

Hey, my name is Joshua Rochelle-Bates; I am 16 years old and from Walsall in and have been riding since 2007. I got into scootering when my friend and I watched Jesse Macaluso’s mini video 3 one night and were IMMEDIATLEY hooked. We both went outside at 10 at night and started trying tricks! Shortly after my first year I met Ben Grantham which changed my opinion on the sport and taking it more seriously.

I try to ride every day, if not every other day even in the winter, enduring the arctic British weather. As most of people can probably guess, I really like bartwists. Ever since I learnt them they immediately clicked with me, I can show my style and my technicality in perfect synchronicity.

I find it hard to decide on my favourite skate park, because I like different parks for different reasons. I like creation Skate Park and stoke plaza. I love riding most of all in a tiny bank outside my house and I have a very open mind with what I can try on them.
 
My proudest moment, has got to be being asked to be on the Razor team. The company have so much respect from me that it I was so honored to be able to represent them by doing something I love, and also be with my friends is a bonus. To be on the Razor team has definatley given more motivation to better myself and keep pushing myself to be a better rider.
